The Great Buddha, seaside temples, an old shopping street and an island sunset — Kamakura packs a lot into a small seaside town, and the famous little Enoden train packs a lot of people into small carriages. A private car turns it into a calm loop, with Yokohama on the way back if you still have energy.

Cross the causeway by car, then wander up past the shrine to the lighthouse garden. On clear winter days Fuji floats over the sea.

Back in Tokyo — or a Yokohama evening
Straight to your hotel, or ask for a Minato Mirai / Chinatown dinner stop on the way home; the rate already covers the Yokohama option.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. One flat USD rate covers the car, the professional driver, fuel, and 8–10 hours of driving time for your whole group. Highway tolls and parking are settled at cost; entrance tickets and meals are not included.
Kamakura by car or by Enoden train?
The Enoden is charming — and at weekends it runs at rush-hour density with queues at every station. With kids, grandparents, or beach gear, the car wins the whole day; if you want the train experience, we can drop you for one scenic Enoden hop (Hase to Enoshima) while the car meets you at the other end.
When does the hydrangea season / beach season peak?
Hydrangeas at Hase-dera and Meigetsu-in peak in June; the Shonan beaches run July–August; clear Fuji-over-the-sea views are a winter specialty. Kamakura works year-round — tell us the month and we will tune the stops.
Is the driver a tour guide?
Drivers are professional chauffeurs rather than licensed tour guides — they handle English for the ride, advise on timing and logistics, and stay with the vehicle at each stop. Our support team coordinates anything complex in English on WhatsApp before and during the day.
How do we book and pay? Is a card required?
Book online in a few minutes with no card required — you pay after the ride. Free infant, toddler, and booster seats can be requested in the booking form. If you want a different route or timing, send the plan on WhatsApp and the team confirms quickly.
