JPC Travel operates the Japan Premium Chauffeur website and booking service ("we", "us", or "our"). We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect booking, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, and travel details.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you request a quote or book a ride, including your name, phone number, email address, pickup location, booked area, exact destination or hotel details if provided, flight number, travel date and time, passenger count, luggage count, child-seat requests, vehicle preference, guide requests, and special instructions.

When SMS is your chosen concierge channel, we additionally collect the SMS consent timestamp, SMS consent text, consent source, IP address, and related booking reference so we can document your opt-in.

When you choose WhatsApp, LINE, or email as your concierge channel, we collect the selected channel and the contact value you provide so your concierge can reach you and coordinate service. We may also use Twilio's Lookup service to validate that any phone number you provide is real and reachable; this validation does not send a message and does not record any code.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to create and manage bookings, calculate fixed fares, coordinate drivers, confirm pickup details, track airport arrivals when you provide a flight number, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and send booking-related communications.

We use SMS to send booking confirmations, driver coordination, pickup updates, and ride-related support messages when SMS is your chosen concierge channel. We may use WhatsApp or other chat apps to coordinate support, pickup changes, hotel updates, driver details, and day-of-service communication when you contact us or choose that communication method.

We use the concierge channel you choose to send booking confirmations, driver details, pickup timing, hotel updates, route changes, and travel support. WhatsApp and LINE communications may be processed by those providers under their own terms.

SMS and WhatsApp Consent

Mobile opt-in, SMS consent records, and messaging consent data are used only for booking, customer support, fraud prevention, and ride-related communication. We do not sell or share mobile opt-in information, SMS consent, or messaging consent data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Service Providers

We use trusted service providers to operate our website, send SMS messages, send email, validate phone numbers, process bookings, host data, and coordinate customer support. These providers may process personal information only as needed to provide services to us.

Retention

We keep booking and communication records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide service, resolve disputes, meet legal or accounting requirements, prevent fraud, and maintain operational records. We may retain SMS consent records to demonstrate that you opted in to booking-related messages.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we limit access to information to people and providers who need it to operate the service.
